Your experience is guided by Joe and Stephanie Carvalho, with 100 years of combined experience. Joe pioneered free-flight programs with Andean Condors, Marabou Storks, and Hornbills, and developed the circle flight behavior that brings free-flying macaws back on cue. Stephanie brings 40 years in avian husbandry and high-level show production, and authored the safety and care protocols that made that work possible. Together they earned the IAATE Behavior of the Year Award, and were contracted to build and run free-flight programs at zoos and parks worldwide.
